Ben Lettery Youth Hostel is not open to guests for this 2020 season.

Ben Lettery Youth Hostel is located in the heart of Connemara was originally a rural farmhouse. It now has dormitories and family rooms. It has been lovingly restored and run by volunteers from the Irish Youth Hostel Association which emphasises safety and security in budget accommodation for youth travellers and groups.

This is a traditional style hostelling experience for those who want to get close to nature. Ben Lettery Youth Hostel has a long wooded lake in front of it with castle ruins on an island and the stunning Twelve Bens Mountains directly behind it so it is ideal as a base for adventure.

Conversation, books and board games are the main form of entertainment in this hostel. For more adventurous guests there are plenty of guides for walks in Connemara and local knowledge from the volunteers at Ben Lettery Youth Hostel if visitors want to explore further.

Ben Lettery Youth Hostel is open for groups of 10 or more all year round and from June to August for all others. Guests return year after year to Ben Lettery hostel due to its stunning location, tranquil atmosphere and wealth of experience from the friendly volunteers.
