Elfin Cottage is a simple farmers cottage that has been restored lovingly and carefully in collaboration with local craftsmen. The dialogue with the craftsmen has been key to the project, with everyone involved being committed to using local, organic and sustainable materials wherever possible. Respect for the natural environment and for the cottage’s humble roots were integral to the restoration. This is reflected with the use of natural materials and a simple design aesthetic throughout.
