Granuaile House opened their doors to their first guests in 1909. They have been accommodating people and filling their plates from their Island Kitchen ever since. Their unique location, history and legendary hospitality have ensured that Granuaile House, with its spectacular views over Clew Bay and the beaches of Clare Island, has remained a thriving family run business.
Granuaile House has a stunning location, situated beside the harbour and in the shadow of the Pirate Queen, Grace O’Malley’s Castle. Granuaile House is a 3 Star Fáilte Ireland approved accommodation overlooking the sandy beach and is close to the nearby pub, restaurant and local amenities.
Granuaile House provide all the usual facilities and can prepare meals from their Island Kitchen for groups and special occasions. They serve a freshly cooked, gourmet breakfast of your choice in their newly refurbished café style dining room, which includes their own free range eggs and home – made brown bread.
