Kilbane Glamping is situated in the rural village of Kilbane, nestled under the Slieve Bearnagh Mountains. This is a rural farming community surrounded by countryside and rolling hills. The Slieve Bearnagh Mountains encompass many of the East Clare Walking Trails and the 12 O'Clock Hills are within 10km of Kilbane. The East Clare Way is a 180km circular walking route that winds its way through the wildest part of the region while touching on its many villages.

Kilbane Glamping consists of two glamping pods, located on an area of the family farm with 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside.

The glamping pods are timber structures, each fitted with an en suite toilet, washing basin and shower facility. There is also a small kitchenette area consisting of a sink, mini fridge, microwave and a two door press with all essentials required to prepare a light meal. After preparing the meal there is a dining table that expands out to seat up to six people. There are two double beds, one a 4ft and the other a 3 seater sofa bed with a pocket sprung mattress. All beds are dressed to a high standard.

Visitors can enjoy the views of the paddocks with the farm animals, cows, calves, sheep, hens and a rooster, as well as two donkeys, Winnie and Ruby, who have been on the farm for over a decade.

Kilbane has a local traditional Irish pub Gunnings and the nearby village of Broadford has a local shop, the Country Store, with a restaurant and bakery.

Kilbane is an 8km drive to the picturesque town of Killaloe which lies on the River Shannon on the western bank of Lough Derg. It is connected by Killaloe Bridge to Ballina on the eastern bank of the lake.

Kilbane is 17km (24 minutes approximately) drive to the vibrant city of Limerick and is 25km (30 minutes approximately) drive to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. There is plenty for people who visit the area to see and do.
