Ballintra, Co. Donegal
Lough Mardal Lodge is a lakeside glamping lodge with fully furnished yurt accommodation on the Wild Atlantic Way in south Donegal. Set on 90 acres, just 15 minutes from Donegal Town with some of Donegal's finest beaches and surf spots close by.

Lough Mardal Lodge is an ideal location set on 90 acres of lake frontage, wildflower meadows and heather hills with sweeping views of Donegal Bay. Each of the five yurts are bright and spacious at 20ft diameter and furnished with sheepskins and Donegal woollen blankets. They each have a wood burning stove and verandas offering lake, forest and mountain views. An ideal spot to watch the sunset before toasting marshmallows on the campfire.

The uniquely designed eco lodge communal building provides guests with a large fully equipped kitchen and dining area, showers and toilets. Constructed with straw bales and plastered with clay and mud, the lodge has a living roof alive with grasses and wildflowers. The building showcases Irish eco design at its best by Cork artist Christy Collard.
