The annual PJ Flood Festival has been running in Belturbet since 2014 as a celebration of the life of renowned local piper and teacher PJ Flood. While it focuses primarily on the promotion of the playing of the uilleann pipes, we now run a weekend of sessions, piping masterclasses, workshops on pipe maintenance and on other instruments. We also have a literary evening with storytelling and singing.
The highlight of the weekend is the annual concert which has featured many renowned national and international artists over the years.
The Festival runs from 28 to 30 March 2025 so save the date for what promises to be a wonderful weekend in Belturbet.
