Visitors experience an authentic evening of music, stories and delicious canapés of smoked salmon, brown bread, a selection of Irish cheese and crackers and a glass of wine. The evening is relaxed and informal, sitting around the peat fire.
Listening to traditional music is one of the most authentic Irish experiences, but at Doolin Music House you can get one step closer by visiting a real musician in his own home. Although they found pub music sessions to be extremely enjoyable, Christy and Sheila realised that many of their visitors preferred to listen to traditional music in an intimate environment.
Christy will speak about the rich history of the music as he plays great tunes around an open fire, while Sheila’s art adorns the walls of their unique and welcoming home.
