Take a trip to the large natural harbour of Baltimore Harbour along the coast of West Cork.
Accessed through the village of Baltimore, the harbour is the gateway to a number of nearby islands. A notable site of interest is the Baltimore Beacon, a sculptural beacon on the eastern point of the southern entrance to the harbour. Follow the trails to the summit and enjoy views of the vast Atlantic Ocean.
Or watch experienced divers as they explore the ocean floor to uncover the resting place of a World War II submarine, as well as the Kowloon Bridge, a carrier ship which sank in 1987.
