Count Dracula (Udo Kier), desperately in need of virgin blood to survive, travels to an Italian villa hoping to find what he needs amongst a family’s three daughters, but he does not count on the estate Marxist and over-sexed gardener (Joe Dallesandro) as his foe. While in Italy filmmaking FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN, it was decided that Paul Morrissey and stars Udo Kier and Joe Dallesandro would team up to immediately shoot an interpretation of another classic horror novel and the result was BLOOD FOR DRACULA. The movie is this wonderfully debauched masterpiece of 70s exploitation cinema, which will be screened uncensored and remastered.
FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN and BLOOD FOR DRACULA are being screened as a tribute to filmmaker Paul Morrissey.
