The sailing school is based in Ahakista on West Cork’s Sheep’s Head peninsula, a European Destination of Excellence, and all practical training takes place on their Hallberg Rassy 46' yacht ‘Merlin’.
Whether you’re a novice sailor or more experienced, you’ll learn great sailing skills on the three stunning local bays. Bantry Bay, Dunmanus Bay and Roaring Water Bay offer technical challenges to suit everyone. You’ll gain practical experience and confidence as well as your RYA sailing qualifications while you’re with Carbery Sailing.
