Behind the Scenes at the National Print Museum: Caring for a Working Collection
Dublin City, Co. Dublin
21 August 2024
Free to visit
The National Print Museum is a living museum, where visitors are encouraged to partake in letterpress printing. Join them for a talk that will explore some of the journeys these printing presses have made to operational artefacts in the Museum space.

The National Print Museum is a living museum, where visitors are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and partake in the craft and stories of letterpress printing. Maintaining all our printing presses and typesetting machines in full working order allows us to not only preserve the objects themselves, but to also celebrate and safeguard the intergenerational knowledge and skills essential to telling the story of printing in Ireland and the wider world.

Free event, booking advised.
