Clontarf Golf Club
Dublin City, Co. Dublin
Cloudy days
Clontarf Golf Club, in easy reach of Dublin City Centre and Dublin Airport, is a pleasant, yet challenging, 18-hole parkland course, with rolling fairways and a liberal sprinkling of fine old trees.

Although a relatively short course, each hole presents its own challenge which can catch the unwitting golfer off-guard.

The Course in Clontarf, County Dublin, was designed by the distinguished golf course architect Harry Colt. The feature hole is the par four 12th where the drive has to be placed accurately onto a narrow plateau before hitting across two ponds to an elevated green. It's also called the quarry hole as it’s where most of the stone which paved Dublin's streets was quarried from in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Club was founded in 1912.

Facilities included a bar/ lounge, restaurant, TV room and Pro shop. Other activities include snooker, book club, bridge club, poker nights and a male voice choir.
