Hurloween Tours at the GAA Museum
Drumcondra, Co. Dublin
29 October - 31 October 2024
Family friendly
Instead of ghouls, they’ll be talking goals in Croke Park this Halloween with the return of their ‘Hurloween’ tours!

‘Hurloween’ Tours are suitable for children aged between five and 12 accompanied by an adult. Tours include a visit to the Croke Park dressing rooms and a walk pitchside where our guides will teach you more about the history and skill of hurling and camogie.

The trip also includes a ‘Warriors and Hurlers Workshop’ where younger visitors will learn more about the story of Setanta, a master hurler who used his sliotar and camán to slay the hound of Chulainn and receive the new name Cú Chulainn!

Everyone on tour will have a chance to visit the GAA Museum and Interactive Games Zone, and every child on tour will receive a book telling the story of Setanta and other Irish legends – the perfect Halloween treat!

History and heritageGAA Museum - Croke Park

Croke Park is an iconic stadium, which has been at the heart of Irish sporting and cultural life for over 100 years. Enjoy an unrivalled state-of-the-art interactive visitor experience and learn about Ireland’s national games, hurling and GAA football (like soccer where both hands and feet are used). Families with younger children can book a tour with the Museum mascot Cluasóg, the Irish hare.
