Imbas is a world music / Indie Folk band. People of all ages love to engage in their welcoming performances. Imbas draws on many seemingly obscure corners of the musical world for inspiration.
Our French Flautist Claire has a classical ear and is a bonafide master of melody, our Bassist Adam has a penchant for South American grooves from Cuba and Peru, our guitarist and singer Eoghan is an avid West African guitar fan and our percussionist Dale somehow pieces it all together with some odd sprinkling of Irish Trad.
Imbas prides themselves on playing live in many different locations, settings and to a wide range of audiences in terms of ethnicity and age.
