The Sankta Lucia celebration represents one of the foremost cultural traditions in Sweden, celebrating light in the winter darkness and heralding the arrival of Christmas.

Included will be the Choir's acclaimed performance of "From Darkness to Light": the lighting is extinguished, the singers - dressed in black and scarcely visible in the gloom - are dispersed throughout the ancient church, all the while singing beautiful music in thrilling harmony. This develops towards the traditional Lucia procession, illuminated by candles.

Premium ticket holders will be seated in the nave of the cathedral, and will be invited to an exclusive reception in the crypt after the concert.

Doors open at 7.15pm, concert begins at 8pm sharp.
