In 2025, the 37th edition of the Galway Film Fleadh will screen a programme of feature films in strands that include Irish films, world cinema, architecture on film, artist on film and music on film with attention to presenting diverse film artists and content. The festival will present films in the Irish language and a short film programme will screen over 100 new short films with three Academy Award qualifying categories.
