Massimo is at the beating heart of Galway's West End. Named after a hamster, Massimo first opened its doors in 2001. Unfortunately the hamster is no longer here, but the bar is bigger and brighter than ever.
There are seven large screen TVs throughout the venue, which provide a way to keep up with all favourite sports. By night, Massimo has bars that serve late Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as DJs, dancing and cocktails. Live music can be enjoyed on Sundays from local musicians.
As well as serving a wide range of local and craft beers, the bar manager’s carefully curated whiskey and gin collections are about quality rather than quantity and the wine list is worth the visit to the bar alone.
Massimo is where a generation of Galway's finest have met up to drink and dance, so cross the bridge to where the locals go and spend an evening catching up with friends and dancing until late.
