In this 1-day taster screenprinting workshop at Blueway Art Studio, learn the basics of screen printing in a fun and creative environment that will immerse you in words and images from Ireland’s Ancient East.
This workshop is an introduction or taster of the screen printing process using an LED emulsion-coated screen and a photo exposure unit.
Participants will bring a prepared image or they can draw or make an abstract print on the day and we will provide all the materials, tools. This workshop is suitable for beginners and will also cover the processes of printing and editioning your artwork on paper, colour layering and registration and using the paper-cut stencil method to print at home.
Turn your one-colour image into a screen and print an edition of prints on paper or fabric or even t-shirts!This workshop can be tailored for groups to work collaboratively on a single or number of designs.
