From 25 to 28 October Longford will celebrate Samhain. With family events, street performers and the Fire & Shadows Procession with Spectacular Bonfire Finale on Bank Holiday Monday, there are events for all ages.
They are thrilled to announce the return of the Dead of Night Festival to Longford for Halloween 2024, kicking off on Friday, 25 October and concluding with a spectacular Samhain Procession through the town and fire beacon finale in Connolly Barracks on Bank Holiday Monday.
On Bank Holiday Monday in Longford, the spirits will cross over from the otherworld to stalk the streets of Longford town. The parade will culminate in a fiery finale at Connolly Barracks where the Samhain fire will banish the spirits back to the otherworld.
The full list of the schedule of events will be announced soon however families and Halloween fans of all ages can all expect to find something to enjoy.
