Port, Lurganboy beach in County Louth, is a Blue Flag Beach situated 5kms north of the fishing village of Clogherhead.

Port, Lurganboy beach in County Louth, is a remote, rural beach with expansive sandy shores, and a wide range of flora and fauna including, the Marsh Orchid. It is fronted by a mature dune area which is perfect for picnics. It offers plenty of open play space for children and is one of County Louth's longest beaches.

The sea is cool and clear offering ample opportunities for swimming. The views from Port, Lurganboy are spectacular and on a clear day you can see the Mourne Mountains and Louth's coastline. The beach is fronted by a mature dune area which is also perfect for picnics. There is a small car park and toilets on site. A lifeguard is on duty during the summer bathing season. Lifeguard patrol times are posted on the noticeboard at the beach.
