Carrowmore Beach is a sandy beach located in a special protection and conservation area and is perfect for walking and relaxing.
Carrowmore Beach is set between rocky outcrops in a small bay and is a priority Annex I habitat listed on the EU Habitats Directive.
The beach has lifeguards on duty during the summer bathing season. More information can be found on the noticeboard located at the beach.
