Tóchar Phádraig Walks - St Patrick's Pilgrim Path in County Mayo is an ancient 35km pilgrim path from Ballintubber Abbey to Croagh Patrick, which has been walked for centuries by pilgrims in the footsteps of St Patrick.

Tóchar Phádraig Walks - St Patrick's Pilgrim Path provides a spiritual and historical journey through the rugged County Mayo landscape. Originally an old chariot road, the path became a medieval pilgrimage route, with pilgrims pausing at sacred sites along the way. Today, guided and self guided walks are offered, allowing pilgrims to experience this deeply symbolic path of faith, reflection and endurance.

The journey provides a powerful connection to Ireland’s Christian heritage, echoing the footsteps of countless pilgrims who have walked it for over a thousand years. Please note walkers must register at Ballintubber Abbey. Only registered walkers are permitted on this route as it is on private property.
