Roscommon Arts Centre is the only dedicated arts venue in Roscommon. It was founded to provide arts facilities for the people of County Roscommon to accommodate the breadth of creative activity in the region, and to actively encourage its development. This busy venue not only boasts a 194 seat theatre, but also has a visual art space and a workshop space.

The year round programme features established elements, including theatre, comedy, music, dance, and visual art. There is also a cinema, workshops, and classes, as well as facilitating amateur and professional, regional, and national elements to provide for the wide audience base that the centre continues to develop.
