Since 1982 the Hawk’s Well Theatre has been at the cultural heart of Sligo Town and has enlivened, entertained and amused the people of the region. This 340 seat theatre is the cultural hub of Sligo and the North West of Ireland. The Hawk’s Well Theatre hosts a diverse programme of arts and entertainments including comedy, professional and amateur drama, a wide range of music from traditional and jazz to opera, dance, pantomime, children's theatre and comedy.
The theatre has a fully licenced bar and elegantly designed foyer for pre and post theatre drinks. The theatre is fully accessible including increased seating capacity for wheelchair users. Parking for the disabled is located at the side of the building and access to the theatre is from the car park.
