Clonmel Golf Club in County Tipperary is one of the oldest clubs in Munster. Originally a 9-hole, it was extended to 18 in 1973. The course has been regularly upgraded to include new greens, realigned holes, additional bunkers and tee complexes. The signature hole is the 14th (stroke index three), a wonderful 185yd par three played from an elevated tee.
Clonmel Golf Club is located in the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains, about 5kms from Clonmel town. It is a beautiful and challenging course with spectacular views of the Suir Valley, Slievenamon Mountains and Ravens Rock.
Visitors are welcome but booking is advisable, particularly at weekends.
