Ireland’s Summer Opera Festival returns from 27 May - 3 June 2024 with headline opera in the grounds of Lismore Castle; concerts and recitals at historic venues throughout the Blackwater Valley, education and free events, gourmet dining and more.
With more than 21 events anticipated at 12 venues over eight days - and in excess of 5,000 visitors expected, they invite you to join them and experience many of the classical music and opera performances at Blackwater Valley Opera Festival 2024. The architecturally quirky Dromore Yard will again play host to some of the most remarkable Irish and international performers in concert, with recitals taking place at historic venues throughout the splendid Blackwater Valley region.
2023 highlights included the headline opera Verdi’s Macbeth, set in the grounds of Lismore Castle and their 2024 opera will be announced later this year.
