From June 12th to June 15th, a number of exciting travel writers will make presentations at The Lismore Heritage Centre.
Juian Evans, will talk about his personal experience of living in Ukraine during and pre-war. Elaine Farrell and Leanne McCormick discuss their best-selling book in 2023, “Bad Bridget: Crime, Mayhem and the Lives of Irish Emigrant Women”, is a masterpiece of social history and true crime, showing us a fascinating and previously unexplored world.
Éanna Ní Lamhna will be talk about biodiversity - not only in Ireland but in the parts of the world she has visited over the years. Dermod and Denis Dwyer will discuss their visit in 2023 to the Middle East and will explain why they went there, and what they saw and learned.
