Omega Three Orchestra are an eight-piece band who came together two years ago for a gig in Waterford’s Theatre Royal when the four-piece Omega Three were joined by other ace musicians/friends who had been guesting with them over the past few years.
The original four-piece of Francie White, vocals, Gerry Madden, mandolin, Gerry Power, guitar, and Mickey Dower on bass are joined in the Orchestra by musicians, Alan Coonagh on sax and clarinet, Dylan Bible, guitars, Suzanne Rowe, accordion and Mick Kinsella on harmonicas and percussion.
At the Omega Three Orchestra concert one year ago, they enthralled the huge audience with their eclectic sounds as they made impressive harmonies with their music.
Following many requests for a repeat experience the Orchestra are back together in The Theatre Royal on Friday 14th March 2025.
Expect to hear tunes and song from America, north and south, Europe, east and west, songs and tunes homegrown in Ireland and the unexpected.
