Each place has a its own collection of intriguing local characters and stories that reflect Irish history and customs, set in scenic surroundings.

These looped walking routes are suitable for all abilities, from age 4 years and up, though gravel paths and cobblestones may not suit everyone. Groups are kept small, a minimum of one person up to 15 people.

The Kilmacthomas tour is a 5km route that takes in ten points of historical interest, including the impressive viaduct, and lasts 2 to 3 hours. This tour starts at the Greenway car park and is mostly level, with one gentle decline.

The Dungarvan route is 2.5km and meets outside the doors of the Waterford County Museum. This route covers ten locations including the Dungarvan Castle and two churches. It lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and has no declines or inclines.
