Waterford is a city with a long connection to the wine trade and many pieces from our collection of medieval pottery were once wine jugs. Medieval wine jugs were heavily decorated and beautifully coloured items, emblematic of the luxury trade they represented.

This unique workshop also comes with a twist, as part of your evening you’ll be given the opportunity to handle real medieval pottery. Guests will be provided with two glasses of wine (non-alcoholic options available) and a full kit including a pottery wine mug.
