Mullingar International Equestrian Centre is the ideal location if visitors are looking for the perfect equestrian holiday, riding lesson or to partake in a show jumping event in Ireland. The family run centre caters for un-accompanied young riders (horse riding & English language courses), families and adult groups. Their excellent facilities, quality horses, experienced staff and on site accommodation create that unique package which attracts guests annually from across the globe.

Horse riding

(15 hours per week) This is the ideal opportunity for the horse loving teenager to improve their riding, knowledge and care of horses in a friendly homely environment. Their riding schedule follows a progressive programme of flatwork, jumping, competition, leisure riding, games and cross country.

At Mullingar they make it feel so easy. Beginners quickly become confident, novices make rapid progress, and intermediates and open riders learn the finer points. They recommend you come for at least a fortnight, preferably longer!

English Language Courses

The package includes three hours English (Mon – Friday) of which two hours are class room based and one hour activity based... Each class will incorporate speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Activities through English will include Stable Management, nature trails, treasure hunts, quizzes, games etc. Classes are small and students will learn in a relaxed fun environment. Mullingar Equestrian centre is a recognised English language centre and all teachers are university graduates with T.E.F.L. training.
