Bunclody Golf & Fishing Club is situated in 300 acres of breathtaking parklands in the former Hall-Dare Estate on the Carlow/Wexford border. Although a new addition to the golfing tradition, Bunclody Golf Club is proving to be the premier golf course in Carlow and Wexford, drawing golf fans from all around the south east. From Kilkenny, Laois, Dublin, Waterford and Wicklow, all travel to play on this stunning golf course.
The golf course runs over 7,000 yards making it an undeniably championship level course. The finishing five holes descending down to the River Slaney will stand comparison to Amen Corner itself. The 16th hole looks as awesome as the view off the 17th championship tee at The K Club where the River Liffey provides the intimidatory element. The wooded hills here will surely echo to cries of joy and anguish as golfers do battle here.
The 17th is a par three, offering scoring opportunities to golfers of all abilities, and situated on the bank of the River Slaney. From the green, one takes the lift to the 18th tee box offering fantastic views of the surrounding countryside as you ascend. The 18th hole leads you through the woods to our architecturally designed club house. With its thatched roof symbolising the Moss House of a bygone era, it has the characteristics of an old historic golf club yet it boasts modern amenities.
The luxurious locker rooms and sauna provide weary golfers with a place to relax and unwind prior to enjoying the magnificent scenery from our first class bar and restaurant.
