This year’s Wexford Festival Opera, running from 17 October – 1 November, invites you to immerse yourself in three captivating operas exploring the theme of Myths & Legends.
This October, Wexford Festival Opera takes you on a 16-day journey through the world of Myths & Legends. From 17 October to 1 November, enjoy operatic masterpieces inspired by timeless tales of gods, heroes and destiny.
The 2025 mainstage operas are:
- Le trouvère by Verdi
- Deidamia by Handel
- The Magic Fountain by Delius
The festival also features two Pocket Operas, a vibrant Community Opera, and the Factory Opera performed by Wexford Factory participants.
Beyond these, the festival is packed with free pop-up performances throughout Wexford Town, inspiring lunchtime recitals, our glittering Gala Concert, engaging talks, and so much more.
