Combining glimmers of light, wild foods, seaweed inks and words, we'll create mixed media pieces and explore the alchemical and transformational season of Samhain. We'll honour the otherworldly, so beautifully personified by seaweeds - living in the liminal place between the tides, between land and sea - and use kelp to help us explore all that Samhain and seaweeds have to offer us. Taking inspiration from Kerri Ní Dochartaigh’s writing practice we’ll welcome the winter in through words of hope and aspirations for the new Celtic year ahead.

Suitable for adults & children aged 12yrs+. Foraging on beach then at Mermaid Arts Centre.
