Made in Wicklow & Powerscourt Estate are proud to announce, “The Cinematic Thread: From Screen to Craft, Powerscourt’s 17:17 Exhibit,” a unique exhibition that highlights the creativity of local craft artisans and Wicklow’s rich cinematic legacy.
Powerscourt Estate in collaboration with Made in Wicklow will host a timely exhibit to celebrate creativity in craft & film ahead of this year’s award season & the Oscars.
Opening to the public on Saturday 15 February, the exhibition will run until Sunday 2 March at the Entrance Hall of Powerscourt House. This remarkable exhibition will feature 17 costumes from iconic films & TV series shot in Wicklow from productions such as The Favourite, The Tudors, The Miracle Club, and Little Women. It will also feature 17 craft practitioners from the Made in Wicklow platform who have created an original piece inspired by a costume from one of the featured iconic films and TV series.
